989 Pea & Broad Bean Harvester

The 989 offers the very latest technology in pea harvesting, ensuring maximum quality and yield of end product is delivered as economically as possible.
The new model incorporates all the strengths and capabilities of the 979-CT plus a variety of new features, many of which have been designed as a direct result of customer consultation and request.

So what’s new?

Four-wheel power steering has increased manoeuvrability, coupled with large diameter front wheels and deep agricultural tread tyres to facilitate harvesting in very wet conditions. The load sensing hydraulic system and variable speed radiator fan motor are power-saving features, making the harvester more economical to operate in addition to reducing emissions and noise. A cleaner end product and reduced maintenance are a key benefit of the improved podder chain – a stainless steel link-wire belt. And the operator enjoys the improved safety and comfort of the new Claas Vista II cab, with the latest version of the Harvest Vision monitoring and control system, HVS+plus.
